Best Practices for Safe Towing in Your Mercedes-Benz

1. Hitch Up Properly

There's a right way to hook up a trailer to, say, a Mercedes-Benz GLC 300, and a wrong one. Follow procedure to the letter. Check your connections; that includes the coupler and wiring. Make sure your safety chains are not only secure but also crossed under the trailer tongue. Above all, check your owner's manual or other trailer documentation for specifics on processes.

2. Adapt the Rules of the Road
