All About OEM Wind Deflectors for 1993 Mercedes-Benz 400 SEL
Wind deflectors do three things every 400 SEL from '93 can benefit from: they cut ambient noise, reduce air resistance, and take a lot of the glare out of the sun's UV rays. Made of acrylic glass much of the time, they're exceptionally durable, and in some cases, you can make even more out of them by way of custom tint. Best of all, they can mount on just about anything in a Mercedes-Benz vehicle -- the windows, the hood, the sunroof or moonroof, you name it. It's just a matter of sliding each into each window channel in each door frame, or directly inserting it, and the job only calls for a microfiber cloth (or another soft, window-friendly kind), paper towels, and window cleaning spray, usually. Note that you may need window clips if you have to fasten the deflectors to the windows themselves; check your owner's documentation for specific directions. Be sure to use genuine Mercedes-Benz wind deflectors for the upgrade; they'll fit your 400 SEL and work right the first time, look the part, and come backed by warranty. Need help installing?
