All About Mercedes-Benz Wheel Locks
If you've installed custom rims on your Mercedes-Benz vehicle, wheel locks are a great way to protect your investment. They replace regular lug nuts, and they're exceptionally theft-deterrent. Put simply, they're lug nuts with unique patterns, and they can't be removed except by using wheel lock keys designed to fit them specifically. In other words, owing to distinctive shapes, they're nearly impossible to pry off; it's therefore highly unlikely that thieves will be able to make off with the custom rims you just put on your ride.
Best thing about them: they're a breeze to install. Just be sure to use a torque wrench to get the securest fit. You'll also want to make sure the key is seated fully to prevent it rounding off. (That happens, and it'll make it a lot harder to remove the locks in the future.)
