How to Install a Mercedes-Benz Roof Rack
It's easy. In most cases, all you have to do is to combine some modular towers and feet using a fitting kit. First, clean your vehicle's roof to ensure the rack's attachment points can lie flush. Then, loosen the screws on all the foot mounts, just enough that the crossbars can fit between the mounts. Now, put the crossbars between the mounts; measure the correct width between mounts and tighten them into place. At this point, attach the rack's pads to its mounts, and attach its caps to its crossbars. Center the rack on the roof of your vehicle, positioning the front away from the top of the windshield, lock the front foot mounts in place on the rim of your car doors, and tighten them, using any included metal clips.
